Frequently asked questions

What is vivora?
vivora is an AI meal-planning app that builds a weekly plan around your household’s schedule, tastes, diet, and grocery budget, then turns it into a grocery list you can shop from.
Is it free?
Yes — there is a free tier today. Premium (more flexibility, longer planning windows, and other perks) is coming soon; we’ll announce pricing before anything is billed.
How does it learn my tastes?
When you rate meals, swap dishes, and complete weekly check-ins, vivora updates a preference profile on our servers. That profile steers future plans and recommendations — the more you use vivora, the more personal it gets.
How accurate are grocery prices?
Prices are estimates based on local store data (including Kroger/Smith’s where available), package sizes, and your ZIP code. Totals are designed to match your planner budget, but what you pay at checkout can differ. Treat costs as a smart guide, not a receipt.
Dietary needs and allergies
vivora applies the restrictions you set and tags recipes from ingredients, but no app can guarantee allergen safety — especially for AI-generated or community-shared recipes. Always read labels and use your own judgment. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
How do I report a problem?
Testers can tap Report a problem in the app on the screen where something broke. Anyone can also email info@tryvivoraapp.com. You can add text, screenshots, and screen recordings. Reports go to our team and may be processed with AI tools to sort and fix issues faster.
How do I share a recipe?
From a recipe you own, use the share action to publish to the community library or create a link. Community recipes are visible to other vivora users; link shares work for anyone with the URL. You can choose whether your first name appears on a link share. To remove something you shared, email info@tryvivoraapp.com.
How do I delete my account?
Email info@tryvivoraapp.com from the address on your account (in-app deletion is coming soon). Deletion removes your personal data; recipes you shared to the library can stay anonymized as “a vivora user” unless you ask us to remove them too.
Where is my data stored?
Account and plan data live in our backend (Xano, US). App hosting, uploads, and feedback videos use Google Firebase / Google Cloud (US). AI partners process only what they need for each task — see our Privacy Policy.
